Workflow en beeldbewerking voor natuurfotografen – Bart Heirweg

Workshop © Bart Heirweg

PHOTOSHOP WORKFLOW ESSENTIALS – ZSE6 Bonus 3 – f.64 Elite by Blake Rudis

THE ZONE SYSTEM EXPRESS 6

Lesson3 Workflow Analysis

I have spent the last ten years perfecting my photographic workflow.   One of the major innovations I made in this time was the development of the Zone System Express, an incredible tool that helps me maintain a consistent and predictable workflow.  It has been through 5 iterations so far and the 6th is going to revolutionize the way you edit your photos.

I can’t just leave you with a tool, while it is a powerhouse, it is nothing without the education to go along with it.  With the panel comes 8 hours of education that will teach you my workflow of Tone, Color, and Effects

What Camera Modes should I use for Nature Photography?

Photography Exposure Triangle Diagram

When you’re first starting out in landscape photography, understanding the many adjustments and settings associated with your camera is paramount. At the same time, this initial learning curve can be rather intimidating. Of all the camera features to understand, arguably the most important to grasp are the different camera modes that are available. The four primary camera modes are Automatic, Aperture Priority, Shutter Priority, and Manual.

Fully Automatic mode is more than likely where you’ll feel most comfortable when you’re first starting out, but you’ll want to transition out of this mode as quickly as possible. The longer you spend shooting in full automatic mode, the more difficult it will be to progress to other shooting options. Once you decide to make the leap and venture outside of Automatic mode, where do you go from there? First, you’ll want to understand how each mode operates and become comfortable with when to use mode.

How many Megapixels do I need for Landscape Photography?

Chart for comparing digital camera resolution in megapixel

Since the beginning of the digital era, camera manufactures have been in a race for the highest megapixel count. Megapixels are frequently listed at the top of the list of specifications for a camera. Even the sales associates at a brick and mortar store are trained to use those megapixel numbers in their sales pitch. But have you ever wondered how many megapixels are enough for landscape photography?
